Founded in 1987, Cader ElectroMeubles is today one of the leading furniture stores in Mauritius. Mr Idriss Cader, the company’s founder, was born on May 25, 1940, and from a very young age, he already recognised the vast potential of the furniture and home appliances retail industry. He thus always had the ambition, vision and desire to have his own retail shop to secure his future and that of his children.  

The story of Cader Electromeunbles started in Rose-Belle, where Mr Idriss opened his first store, employing only his family members. They started selling essential home and office appliances such as gas plates, tv rack, modern living room accessories and office visiting chairs. In no time, the store became one of the leading dealers in bedroom sets in Mauritius. Nowadays, Cader ElectroMeubles deals in all household appliances, personal and professional electronics, as well as a wide range of furniture.  

After successfully achieving his dream, Mr. Idriss finally stepped down to leave the company’s reins to his son, Mr Yousef Cader. The latter has now over 25 years of experience managing the business and has taken the company to new heights, establishing it as one of the country’s leading household appliances and furniture retail businesses.   

The new CEO ushered a new dawn for Cader ElectroMeubles, centred around high-quality customer service, accessibility and premium products. The company is now present in six key locations around the island, with stores in Rose-Belle, Flacq, Plaine Verte, Chemin Grenier, Beau Vallon and Triolet. The company also employs a team of over 80 team members, trained to always cater to customers’ needs.  

Cader ElectroMeubles is now reaching a new landmark in its history by launching this brand-new online shopping platform. It is in line with the company’s philosophy to always provide the best service to customers around the country.
